Hi, Im Alexa

Hi, I’m Alexa — a functional nutritionist and retreat chef with a lifelong connection to cooking and a deep respect for the power of real food.

I grew up in the kitchen, where cooking became more than a skill — it was a place of creativity, grounding, and connection. Over time, that foundation evolved into a practice that integrates culinary artistry with a science-backed understanding of how food supports the body.

I hold a Master’s in Nutrition and specialize in functional nutrition, metabolic health, and the gut–hormone connection. My work has been centered around helping individuals restore their health through whole foods and a systems-based approach — understanding how the body responds, adapts, and heals over time.

That same perspective now informs how I approach food in a retreat and event setting.

II provide high-level culinary support for retreats and events, traveling to destination locations to create meals that are both elevated and deeply nourishing.

This is not traditional catering.

Each menu is intentionally designed to support the experience of your retreat — considering energy, digestion, flow of the day, and the overall environment you are creating for your guests.
